Opps, been close to a month since I last update my blog.
Well, not much going on, nothing to update...I have been super busy with work.
Busy with houseworks, with Rayden etc etc etc...
Hubby got his last molar extracted, due to partial decaying...scary...
Must have a good brushing habit else end up like him..heee GOsh it must be painful. He spent $200 in this minor surgery. Pain for a couples of days, had slight fever..But glad he's getting better on the xmas day..
As for Rayden, I am still confused with the milk formulae, dunno which is the best for him. His poo is either too hard (like pebbles) or too soft (like curry)... FIL suggested that we should mix Mamil Gold with Isomil Advanced 2, to get the correct stool.. indeed, it appears to be better.
So now, Rayden is on Dumex Mamil Gold / Pedisure + Isomil Adv 2. Haa
It's getting complicated.
Oh ya, about me, my company have "warm shutdown" for the entire xmas week. We are being "forced" to take 4 days leaves ... so staying at home, but everyday i packed myself with events.. heee .. Wonder if FIL will "complain" tat I am not working but yet I don stay at home to look after Rayden :p
Okay about Xmas, well not much of mood this year, dunno why... maybe becoz Hubby is too busy shuttling between his client's xmas parties and own usual gang's. No spirits this year, did not even get a chance to view the xmas lightings in Orchard.
So Xmas Eve, we supposed to go East Coast Park for BBQ but due to the heavy rain, we switched to one of our fren's house for dinner + countdown.
Well, to be frank, this year wasnt as well -planned as last year, it's kinda bored. But no complaints coz they are trying their best already, I did not help, due to Rayden.. Those with Kids are rather hard to participate in the activities, plus we did not have a formal discussion as well, only a few folks are doing the planning. But still it went on well and smooth :)
Pics on the way...
Upcoming events:
BBQ - on 26th and 28th
Hope i can lift up my mood before counting down to Year 2009!

Virus & virus & virus wins!
So sad, ever since Rayden turned 2, he been having running nose & cough.. Finally got well around 17th Nov.
Then on 24th Nov, we went United Sq's Vienna for dinner, and shopped at ToyRUs, it was fun and enjoyable, but alas..came Tues...
25th Nov (Tues) came his high fever, gave me a bad shock..went to see PD, on fever medication. The fever lasts about 5 days with on-off fever.. Then while the fever is gettg cleared, came the bad diarrhoea on 27th Thurs, vomitted his milk and bad appetite..He very sleepy the whole day and were very tired-looking.
On Fri, he din got better but WORSE, i found blood streaks in his watery poo.. Freaked me out! After hubby came back from his roadmarch, we rushed to KK hospital around 10pm.
Spent $80+ there, took a blood test, Rayden cried like crazy, coz need to squeeze his blood out from his tiny fingers [ half a small test tube =( ]. Gave only the strengthening immunity medicine that Rayden already have been taking. It was a, i think Mymmar or Fillipino lady doc, i can hardly understand wat she said. I askd why the blood streaks, she only say it's viral attacks.
Still watery poo but blood streaks seem to lessen.
Brought Rayden to his usual PD today (2Dec), spent $50+ but finally I feel much better. Dr Teo explained why the blood streaks and listen carefully and gave more medications and asked us to stop milk & all dairy products (The KK doc said i could continue to gv when i asked her).I would trust my PD more in this case.
Things to note when baby's having diarrhoea & vomit:
Monitor weight loss
Dilute milk but if with vomit (stop milk)
Provide plenty of water (rice water, barley water is recommended)
Give Pedilyte to replenish nurients
Give frequent but less qty sollid feeds (if child reject, it's fine)
Avoid diary based product (if frequent vomit & bad diarrhoea)
hope he got better within 3 days..spare Rayden the agony please..

Rasa Sentosa 2D1N Stay (15-16th Nov 2008)
Rasa Sentosa 2D1N stay! This is planned by Hubby in view of post celebration on Rayden's big 2! Hehehe...
Of coz, I am 100% supportive of it, and i love the idea!
Check-in and was drizzling, we settled down in the hotel room.
Then around 4pm+, we headed to the Merlion Trails etc then for Dinner@koufu.
Then "HOME"! Hubby discovered no EPL channel on the tV, then went alone to nearby cafe. Coz Rayden needs to sleep, so neither me nor Rayden followed him..
Day2, breakfast, then to the toddler's playroom, then to the Beach!
first sandcastle building for Rayden, he love it.. haa

Rayden is 2!
Phew November is quite a busy month for us, but all for happy events.
I sms my dearest frens almost every week to wish their darling's Happy 1 or 2! hehe
So fun!
But =(, I am down with heavy flu and sorethroat and cough for quite a while.
Rayden got it first on the 7Nov. On 8Nov, I am supposed to bring Rayden along to support our
department bowling team in the Finals at Orchird Country Club, but i did not due to Rayden's flu.
Do not want to worsen his flu with the cold aircon at the bowling alley.
About less than a week, he gotten better under the medication, and then it is my turn! I got it from Rayden
around the same weekend as him, it gotten worst on 11Nov, hence seen a doctor and on medication, but up to now 14th,
my pills are almost depleted, but my heavily blocked nose, sorethroat and cough did not seem to get better.
Hope i recover soon *cross fingers*.
Today's Rayden's Big 2!! Yippy..
But I did not throw a party for him, juz wanna have a simple dinner between 2 families.
The dinner will start at 730pm, but too bad I have a customer visit until 6pm. Hope no further delay *cross cross fingers*.

Oh ya, today Rayden's school is having their rehearsal for the graduation ceremony tomorrow (for the older kids). Rayden is
performing also. hee i wonder what will he be doing and will he able to listen to instruction and will he be afraid of the big crowds.
Hubby promised me to attend the rehearsal today, let him have a glimpse b4 tomorrow.hee. For myself I am looking forward to tomorrow.
Plan for tomorrow:
Attend TalentPlus's graduation ceremony
Head home for Rayden's lunch
Head to Rasa Sentosa for our 2D1N stay - juz the 3 of us, Yeah!!

Taiwan Highlights (23rd - 28th Oct)
Our third family trip, this time is with Father-in-law.
We booked from Five Stars Tour to Taiwan.
Rayden was charged as twin sharing with FIL, coz we need to get 2 rooms.
All in all, the bookings with taxes came up to $4.5k
During departural:
1) Taipei - Accomodation: Golden China Hotel (4*)
Day One
- Ximenting
Hmm... Not as interesting as during evening time i guess, it's quieter compared to the last few times i came.
- Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall
Windy windy place, with pigeons flying around..haha
- Taipei 101
As Hubby and FIL is not keen to get to the top of the tower (i went once), so quite boring for us. we end up visiting the Haagen Dazs for icecream and coffee.. hee..
- Shihlin night market
Once again, I have verified, the food at Shihlin Nite Market (the Hawker centre) is not for our likings, hate the smell of the "smelly tofu" and those intestines, smell unpleasant and look scary... Only the "Hao Da Da Chi Pai" interests us.
But the nite market for clothings etc look interesting. But din shop much over there.. Coz Rayden was clinging to me like a Koala Bear.. neh too tiring for me to multitask.
Day Two
Hotel Breakfast:
- Yangmingshan
Beautiful garden... but too bad it was drizzling..
- Beitou hot spring
Due to my eczema condition, i don visit hot spring, fearing it aggrevate my bad enough condition. Hence we did not procced but loiter around then have our lunch there.
- Fishermen wharf
- Tamsui Old street
- Martyr's Shrine
- National Palace Museum (Gu gong)
- High Speed Bullet Train
2) Taoyuan
- Yinge Pottery old town
- Leofoo Village Theme Park
On the way to the fruit farm
- Taisan Fruit Farm
3) Taichung
- Fong Jia Night Market
4) Changhua
- Baguashan
5) Kaohsiung
- Meinong Hakka Village
- Spring & Autumn Pavilions
- Leo Ho night market
The night market is kinda boring for us, hence we took a cab and zoomed to the Dream Mall.. and had our Japanese seafood buffet dinner there.
Departure:
Overall, it was a great trip , though with small minor hiccups (Bus driver lost his way, waiting for those late tour members to gather, some minor arugements between FIL and Hubby, handling grouchy Rayden who as always refuse to eat/drink milk).
The weather is warmer than we expected, average is abt 26degC, night time is slightly cooler.
Shopping looks great, why look? Coz i didnt really get to shop, coz of my precious koala bear, haa Rayden but who else? He keep clinging to me like one, neither FIL nor hubby able to pacify him, I cant be out of sight to him.
Believe it or not, even when I in the shower, he would sit quietly at the kerb n wait patiently for me. Hubby tried to play w him and pull him away, he asked hubby "Go, watch TV" ... LOL...
My darling precious, he's such a sweetheart.
Little Rayden definitely enjoyed his trip, mumbling non stop, singing, jumping.. haa u name it..Made little fren and good frens... enjoying every single attention.
As proven exposing little ones more is helpful, he seems to pick up more things during the trip and more outgoing. In a way broaden his horizons, rather than brooding up in our boring flat all day long.
Spendings in Taiwan : $2.5k
Total damages: ~$7k
phew, spent too much this year, no more holidays for year 2008.
