Hubby picked me up early from work, so we decided to dine out side and do some shopping.. hee Hubby to get my little present. Hehe..
So off we go, to town with FIL, little Rayden and us...

We went Takashimaya then Paragon... Gotten my little pressie, then have our dinner at Fish & Co ...

Updates of prgress in TalentPlus playgroup

It's been the 4th day since he's in playgroup. Here's a little updates..
He cried when FIL left the room but when he picked him up, he did not cry like previously. Still dunno wat they have been doing in the playgroup, but he always come back with some works, but all seem to be done by the teachers instead of him, coz all quite nicely done .. haa..
So lidat lo...anyway I din expect much..

Tomorrow will be Teacher's day celebration, so it's only a 1 hr class.
I wanna to get some little token for the teachers but no time to go shopping. Hence. hhehee ..since 1 got 2 extra box of sweets bought from Tokyo DisneyLand hence make tat as the little token ...cheapo bo ;P

FInally managed to get hubby to take pics of little Rayden in school uniform today 29Aug08..hee ..

TalentPlus Playgroup

After visiting the centre last fri, verdict is to go.
Although only having a vague idea of the program for the 1.5hrs, but at least, environment and price wise i think is an OK to go.

So starting from today, 1.5hrs daily Mon -Fri.
Total amt paid this time : $335

Breakdown:
Sept Fee: $120
Material Fee: $55 (Prorate coz now already Aug. Half yearly $65)
Deposit: $120 (Dec month, non-refunable if attended 1 mth class)
Uniform: $40 (2 set)

Stayed with Rayden for about 20mins in the class, then I left, I could hear him crying outside. :(
Recently he have been much more clingier to me as before, I wonder if this is good or bad. The room is locked, and no windows to peek through, so I left hardheartedly.
~ 1 hour later, I returned to "collect" Rayden lo.. hahaa
From outside i hear things ok, but the moment the door is open, he cried, he saw me, but keep crying and ask for gong gong.. :(
Keep crying today... so sad! HOpe he will get better tomorrow. :)

Totsland Playgroup (Early Termination)

After much observation and feedback from FIL, I have decided to pull Rayden out from his daily playgroup.

He started in August attending 930am - 11am session.
Paid: Adm fee -S$10; Material -S$50; August - S$100 (all foreited)
Able to retrieve: Dec -S$100 (Retrieved!)

Main Reason of pulling him out: UNhygiene (Defintely not up to our level)

Rayden stopped attending since 18th August, meanwhile I will be looking out other centres.

First Trip to Zoo 16th Aug 08

Have always wanted to bring our lil precious to the zoo, but I keep pining hopes in balloting for the free zoo pass from my company, but due to the popularity, have not been successful.
So in the end, we gave up & juz Pay..hahaa

As usual, brought Rayden to his kindermusik class.
Teacher Jessica told us, she's moving out from the existing place to West, and if she couldnt find a appropriate location (min travelg for her as she's expecting already), this semsester might be the last :(
So sad..... Rayden quite enjoy the class, rather fun though he still cant 100% follow through. But I am glad enough he have fun! :)

So after the class ard 1030am, Hubby picked us up, BIL and future SIL and FIL are already in the car, and so OFF we Go to the Zoo..
But midway there.. around 11am, thunderstorm ..SHUCKS! .. our mood dropped.. sian, but anyway we decided to proceed.. Thankfully, when we reached and waited to get a lot, the rain stopped, the weather is rather cooling though a lil bit of humid (as usual).
It was enjoyable trip, though we didnt get to cover all of the places.
We will be back.. hehee :)

Tokyo Shopping Spree 4th Aug - 9th Aug

Finally it's a dream come true!
We have been talking about visting Japan since our secondary school days, after 10 over years, we finally get to go together :)

We started to plan for this trip around late June.
Got our F&E package from SA Tours at ~S$1.5k/pax (inclusive of taxes)

We plan a whole list of shopping, in the end we missed a few spots, 5 days are simply too short to tour/shop in Tokyo! hahaa
Surely, I'LL BE BACK... hehehee

All in all I spent close to S$5k
F&E package - S$1.5k
Jap Yen - S$1.2K
Credit card bill - $2k (OOOPpSs!)

Stay 4N at Sunshine City Prince Hotel (Ikebukuro)

ANA flight - Not bad but stewardess not as pretty as I expected :P
Sunshine City Prince - very small, and very long walk from Ikebukuro Station ~20mins
(I wont go to this hotel again, but the area is great, lotsa shopping)

Itinery

- Ikebukuro (reach ~9am drizzling)
Great place to shop!! My hotel is in this area. But things are EX, the sale items are priced ~ same as Sgp. So imagine those non-Sale items ..phew

Part 2, hahaa jess finally found her ideal D&D costume at Asakusa, I helped her to wear it and like tat we went shop & dine in Ikebukuro. No one see her as a weirdo like the Singaporeans will do here, rather, they appreciate and praised her for looking handsome. Hahaa..

Like Ikebukuro but trendier clothing there

- DisneyLand
Fun but went during Summer (36deg), super HOT!HOT!HOT! and the queues are damn long (~50mins)

- Kamiyacho
Tokyo Tower
Beautiful night scene :) We can see the Ferris Wheel and Rainbow Bridge rather clearly, so we think we can give Odaiba a miss due to the tight schedule.









- Ueno
Got my scallops there and another Blue label at Matsuzakaya hahaha
I would expect Ueno to be open quite early, we reached there around 8am+ but it's a dead street, so proceed to Mac for breakfast. Around 10am+, then the shops are ready.





- Asakusa
Traditional stuffs & good food, got the lil Jap costume there for my lil Rayden
Got a "Da Ji" draw from the temple :)

- Akihabara
Electrical stuffs which I am not keen but i went to the Adult Shop there.. i Wow Wow Wow... LOLx

- Odaiba (Missed)
Decided not to go since we saw the Ferris Wheel and the Rainbow Bridge from Tokyo Tower. So decide to shop at Ikebukuro instead.

- Tsukiji/Ginza
Need to get our return limo bus tickets from Hotel receiption, so we stayed until 8am in hotel to get them. We missed the peak hours at the market. :(
Saw big fishes, all the seafood etc
Ginza, personally I don fancy this place.

- Roppongi
Need to get Hard Rock Tshirt for Hubby, so went there... long walk, coz we exit from Hiro Station instead of Roppongi Station, and 1 western lady "advised" us to walk since we are at Hiro then to reverse and take train to Roppongi. Given a chance again, I will DEFINITELY reversed and take train to Roppongi Station.
But Ok la, on the way from Hiro to Roppongi we discovered Dorameon shop and Louis Vuitton.And yup, there's a Singapura resturant, on the menu, our famous Hainanese chicken rice, claypot etc..
After the 1hr walk, finally arrived HardROck Cafe, after the shopping, juz grab our lunch from the nearby Ramen shop.

- Gotanda
To Akachan Hopon! Free shuttle bus from station to there. Great shopping place for the kiddo....so cute!

- Shinjuku
Coz have been wearing high heels (to look good.. haa) my foots almost cant make it. So suggested my fren to went along to Shijuku while i headed back to Hotel to rest a while then shop at Ikebukuro ... Wise choice for me i would say..ehehee
Great choice for my fren too, coz she get to see her Jap Idol performing LIVE at Shinjuku (080808)

Checkout and took limo bus to Narita Airport. On the way a recap of several venues.
Did not feel so bad about missing Odaiba after all .. Hahaha
Saw Tokyo Tower, DisneyLand Hotel, Fuji TV Headquarter, Rainbow Bridge, Ferris Wheel.

How i missed my precious Rayden and Hubby!
Hehehee...
In the next few months i gotta scrimp and save after tat big hole .. hahaha
Hope I wotn faint when i see my credit card bill mth end.
