Aftermath of my accident

First of all, thanks everyone for the consoles and encouragements... :)
Indeed super remorseful, luckily hubby did not exactly reacted the way I thought he'd.
I mean those kind of "death" sentence, like "dont ever touch my car again" type of comments.. phew... of coz, he did ticked me off on my mistake, but he agreed too, due to my lack of experience and poor judgement, they attributed to this accident, and thankfully, the damage wasnt very bad.
Took a pic on my HP (my old one coz the new one still with service ctr), but duno why cant upload to my PC nor able to bluetooth.. hmm..
Anyway, he have checked with his workshop, $190 will do the job on the side mirrors. For the body scratches, respray would need $1k, and gotta leave it with the workshop for at least 2 days. Hence he's holding on to the spraying idea. (of coz, some of the scratches are not from me, i do not intend to foot this bill.. :P ).

So, lesson learnt. Gotta be super careful when driving, and pls wake up n use my brain! :P
Oh, I did drive Rayden to school and then picked him as per plan, everything was fine.. phew... :)

My first driving "accident" 07 Nov 2009

down down down for me today..
I am feeling so awful, so bad, so sorry, so stupid now..
WHY? COz...... I had my first "accident" ... sighz......
I think I could have avoided it if I were more careful and composed.
Conclusion: I cant park in a crowded car park.
Damage: the side of the left side mirror got chipped off.
I am really sorry, but I know 4 hours from now, I gg to get scoldings and disappointments from hubby :(
I know I in the wrong, he entrusted me with his car but yet I didnt do a proper job.
I think he be losing his faith in my driving skill even more.
I also wonder why my parking sucks big time. sighz...
the story goes like that.....

Hubby on reservist for this week, and Sat (today), he need to report to Safra Yishun at 8am for some activities. Hence he proposed I could drive him there, then use the car to send Rayden to school at 11am later, then pick him up again around 1pm.
SIghz... I am losing my confident now,I not sure should I still drive or not later.
:( :( :(

Sent him to Safra Yishun, fine and well... Upon reaching home, as usual our packed carpark are packed with cars (insufficient car lots).
Tried to park into a lot, upon trying I have no confidence, so I tot I better don be a smart alec, going to choose a further and easier lot to park. Hence while trying to drive off, I gotta do a 3 point turn in this small packed carpark.
Problem came! Due to my poor parking and judgement skill, I somehow got stucked!
After several attempts of forwarding, reversing, turnings, I couldnot get my car out. DIE! While reversing out... I was then blocked on the left side, a car and right side a motorbike, infront is the kerb. So while reversing, due to the lousy "entry" i was too close to the left car, hence while coming out, my left side mirror "kissed" the left side mirror of tat car.
Result: my left side mirror got chipped out. The other car is fine.
Upon panicking, I wanna come down to see the damage condition, I didnt managed to step on my hand brake fully, it rolled and hit the motorbike. It was quite gentle, but left a black scratch on my bonnet. I feel like crying. sighz.
My Father-In-Law saw these from our flat, and came to my rescue. But too bad he drove buses all his life and never drive a auto car before, he unable to help me to get off. Hence I continue to drive while he gives me instruction. Finally managed to get out and parked safetly.
But my confidence have been tarnished. I am so scare now, I finally admitted I am really very lousy in parking :(
My hubby used to comment that but i disputed by saying coz there wasnt enough practise, well true enough coz i really seldom drive, but also true enough my judgement is POOR! : (
Wanna call my hubby immediately to "report" my accident. But FIL stopped me, saying he will know later anyway. Let him know later..sighz... I really feel so bad now!!
My FIL told me, I shouldnt fully locked my wheel when I doing turnings. Well, yes that my wrong stratgey perhaps. Coz I normally full locked to ensure i turned, then while moving I can feel then adjust back. But proven in such kind of insufficient space, I shouldnt, coz the car reversed too much to the right and caused my front to turn more towards the left, tat casued the "kissing" .Ya stupid me! why din i think of that while I was reversing. So see, accident! I could have avoided it if I had reversed straighter , aligning to the course of my space. Darn! only 1 word to describe me. IDIOT! :(
I wonder how hubby is going to react later. Of coz I am more than willing to pay for the damaged side mirror. But it's the faith gone.. from me and my hubby in me...
Sighz... apart from sighing now, I do not know wat else could I do.

Hmm... not much happening going on..

Gathering at Erin's place.. where the kids had lotsa fun together.. All thanks to the arrival of little Sarah in Sep.. We took this opportunity to visit the lovely family & the new arrival..
Well, too bad, i lost my voice tat nite, din get to speak too much..
But really thanks to the yummy food prepared by the couple. :)

My Sony Ericsson C902
Ever since I got this phone... hmm ..it's quite good, i am quite satisfied. But, seems like i am not fated with this phone. Not only i nearly lost it a couple of times, it have been dropped a couple of times.. and finally it was "drowned" by Rayden's Barley water over the last weekend. :(
Sent it for repair today, preliminary finding.. Battery is gone, keypad is gone. Warranty should be over, anyway I din keep the receipt. It will cost me ~$160, if I need to repair it, and not sure anymore damages after their detailed inspection.
And I will get to lose all my phone memory when they do the software update.
I better source for another phone to purchase, my hubby already stated very clearly, since I cant take good care of my phone, forget abt getting a Iphone.. :P

Rayden's fever
All of the sudden during last Thursday, he gotten high fever, even though with the medication, the fever did not go always after 5 days. On Monday I brought him to GP, total medication cost me $29! Wow!!! tat's so cheap .. haa Coz always been bringing him to PD, each time it's at least $60.. Really hope he get well soon ..

At Little Kid's Ozone
Paid $7 for an hour of play. Rayden love it, and play well with a 4year-old Korean boy we met there. But too bad, had a little accident there, when this Korean boy ran too fast and they collided, little Rayden got a little scratch with blood on his left elbow :(

Genting Highlands (19 Sep - 21 Sep)

Hee... Rayden's first holiday for this year..
I bet he's gg to love it... cooling weather + lotsa fun rides..
Booked this F&E 3D2N with WTS. $1100 for 4 Adults 1 Kid, on platimum coach.
Due to late booking, we only end up with First World Hotel.. it's very small but good enough for us.. I intended to book Highlands Hotel but dunno how to go about with the booking. Hee..

So again, we are going with the gambling gang :P , my MIL and her 3rd sis. hehee...

Reached Genting Highlands around 1pm+, waiting to check-in. We took turns for lunch..
We went to First World Lobby for lunch... not nice food... eat for the sake of gettg energy.






Dinner at this restuarant..forgotten the name but great chinese food esp the "xiao long pao"..


Next morning.. had our breakfast at 10am.. Coz Rayden refused to wake earlier..
Got him a pair of gloves the other nite, coz Genting is really quite cold.. I underestimated the weather there..
See..Rayden looked just like MIL...

Rayden is tall enough for a ticket. haa ..finally he's > 90cm...hee

3D2N, tat's all... Actually I did not feel well, i think the weather might be too cold for me, i wasnt enough clothed :P + drank too little water and the air is dry.
Actually feel sick on our 2nd day there...
Nevertheless, felt great to see lil Rayden enjoyed himself.. Thanks again for hubby for making this happen $$$ .. hee ...

YuXuan is 4!

Little Cousin YuXuan is 4.... Little Aunt held her party at Grassroot's Club.
I would say it's a great place to hold birthday party if your kids > 3yrs old.. Fun for them... Parents can chitchat at the side n have their buffet.

Army Open House 09

For the sake of Rayden, thought he might enjoy AOH, seeing the big green vehicles and guns.. Hence decide to go on the Saturday afternoon, despite the hot heat that I have anticipated..

So after his Berries class, we proceed to Pasir Laba Camp at 1230pm..Phew..the sunny is really burning...
But not bad, true enough, Rayden seem to enjoy it..

















Went home around 5pm, after washup.. Rayden KO until 845pm... Hubby went out for his pool game... while I prepare our dinner (Rayden and mine).. :)
